Manchester United v Brighton – Premier League Updates

Preamble

Manchester United, after defeating Sunderland and Liverpool, aim for a trio of victories in a row this evening. The wind’s behind them with Ruben Amorim in charge currently!

Only problem is, Brighton are the Seagulls, who have won on each of their last three trips at the Theatre of Dreams, plus six out of seven fixtures between the clubs.

Never mind the wind behind; for the Seagulls it’s been a breeze. Nevertheless, Brighton themselves remain as gloriously unpredictable like United, making this match competing and maybe highly entertaining.

The match begins at 17:30 BST a final reminder for now with daylight saving ending, kids. Game on!

Maguire picked up an injury in midweek sessions. Malacia returns on the bench in 2025-26.

Brighton have made one alteration post-success against versus Newcastle. It’s ostensibly a defensive one, including Maxim De Cuyper instead of Gómez, now among the subs.

Danny Welbeck, formerly of United to win the Premier League back in 2013, visits his old club with great momentum scoring four in three, exceeding his tally in his previous 15.

Leading Stories

The manager pays little heed regarding comments from Liverpool’s boss … while Welbeck is focused with the thought processes of Thomas Tuchel.

Analysts have noted that this match may influence their respective fortunes as the Premier League campaign progresses.

Ones to watch include Fernandes in red and the Brighton forward in blue and white, both in fine form recently.
