Netflix Chooses Perfect Performer for Bentham in the Hit Series Third Season

The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t take place until the next season, and a cherished, popular member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bon Clay. Bon Clay has the ability to transform into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will depict a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action show, as in the original manga and anime.

This performer is joined by several other fresh additions set to bring the organization to the screen, such as leader Mr. 0, played by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the cast as the ruler of the desert kingdom.

Though Bon Clay is a major member of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. Considering the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this marks a major departure in the timing of their first appearance, one that could signal further changes to the story’s structure.

Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded figures.

The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
