Throughout a commanding display, England secured one more victory against Albania, with multiple players delivering notable displays throughout the game.
Starting Lineup
Dean Henderson Had little to do to perform before the break but then called into action from Arbër Hoxha’s curled attempt. A sliding tackle on Qazim Laci showed sharp anticipation. 6/10
The debutant Examined by Albania’s primary attacker in Hoxha. Started in a central role to begin with then shifted wider after Saka entered the fray. 7
The defender Moved into midfield on the ball, something he's known for before. Sometimes lacked urgency in possession with the experiment was shelved by the interval. 6
Dan Burn Always dangerous from dead balls, per usual, could serve as an alternative for Stones at the back as opposed to paired with him. A loose pass later in the match came close to an opener for Albania. 6/10
The young full-back A further composed showing by the youngster following his first cap against Serbia. A teammate was unable to take the opportunity from an exquisite flick over the opposing backline. The role is firmly his so soon. 7
The newcomer His first start in an England shirt. Slightly loose in possession though his whipped deliveries caused problems. An effective pace-controller for the manager to have against sides that sit back. Cautioned for a poorly timed foul. Six
The midfielder Deliveries on corner kicks and free kicks created chances. Had freedom to move down the left flank yet found himself offside when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Granted a merited break around the 60-minute point. 6
Jude Bellingham Played in a forward position down the right and also contributed with defensive duties. Displayed glimpses of brilliance and dragged an effort over. Replaced towards the end for a teammate, his competition, following a yellow card. Seven
The winger Had England’s best chance before halftime, his strike excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate hanging back, he was forced to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses into the box varied in quality. Taken off with 15 to go. 6/10
Harry Kane The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. His first a typical poacher’s finish while the second an excellent header having drifted away off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve and the side have every chance next summer with him up top. 8
The attacker Had difficulty to get into the game from the left. Had a presentable chance when set up from a teammate yet the keeper made the save. His replacement made much more of influence after coming on. 5/10
